Except as otherwise provided in this code, the board shall have all the powers and duties vested in the various boards of appeal as specified in the provisions of BC 8.01.010 through 8.01.090, BC 8.02.005 through 8.02.130 and BC 8.06.005 through 8.06.070, as now or hereafter amended or replaced comparable provisions.
