Violations of this ordinance are declared to constitute public nuisances. When the city engineer determines that conditions violating this ordinance exist, the city engineer may require or provide for abatement of the violation pursuant to the provisions for abatement of nuisances in Chapter Five. The city attorney may institute any legal proceedings necessary to abate a public nuisance. These remedies are not exclusive and are in addition to other remedies provided under this ordinance or under any other law.
