A. No person shall cause a sidewalk bench, transit shelter, newsrack or other facility to be placed or maintained on a public street or sidewalk or in any other public way or place without first obtaining a valid permit under BC 9.01.300 through 9.01.330.

B. Any sidewalk bench, transit shelter, newsrack or other facility placed or maintained in violation of this code constitutes a Class 1 Civil Infraction. [BC 9.01.325, amended by Ordinance No. 3520, 6/16/86]
