Covered businesses that are able to demonstrate to the City that they generate less than 250 pounds of food scraps per week are exempt from the requirements described in BC 4.08.630. The City may request the updated data necessary to evaluate whether a covered business continues to be exempt at any time, but the City may not make such a request more than once per calendar year for each covered business.
