2.03.251 Membership.

A. The committee shall consist of seven members as follows:
1. At least four members with disabilities (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act).
2. The remaining members qualified by knowledge of or interest in issues faced by disabled persons, or a combination thereof.
B. The members of the committee shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council. When possible, the mayor shall appoint individuals who are either property owners, residents, or actively engaged in business or employment in the City.
